Pattern left by sea coal on a beach.

Yesterday was uncommonly warm, so after work I decided to enjoy the evening and drove down the zinc works road to the beach. The tide was exceptionally low, allowing me to explore great expanses of sand that are usually either under the North Sea or Greatham Creek.

I came across a stretch of sand where the tide had deposited grains of sea coal during its retreat. I love looking for patterns and objects in the sea coal, quite like seeing shapes and objects in clouds.

Can you see an angel in this pattern of sea coal?
